Driver update causing meter problems

Post by Affo »

Hi,

Just updated my nvidia driver as Assassins Creed Odyssey wasn't performing as it should and am now on GeForce game ready 417.35 . AC now runs smoothly at 60fps at high settings, which is great, but I noticed straight away yesterday that the JNPG meter has suffered and I am getting the 6oc 3C slide. For all my PGA9 rounds it was slipping past the line and so I had to start making adjustments.

Basically, I am just wondering whether anybody else has had a similar problem with a driver update?

What make it weirder is on the first 2 PGA18 rounds tonight, the front 9 holes, the meter was slipping a bit, but it seemed to ease on the back 9 on both rounds. Now i'm not sure whether to pre guess a slide or trust the meter...fun times.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

I have experienced this also. I thought it was just me going through one of my snapless phases, but after updating my driver last night, my meter slide is nuts and I seem to be missing my snap more than I would during one of my snapless periods. It was so bad that I ran malware and antivirus and then rebooted (hoping that would help). The meter just skips instead of smoothly going through the rotation. It doesn’t do it on every swing. It seems to be influenced by what’s in the scene???

Affo I totally had similar experiences, jumping meter is no fun to play. Right now I am on the newest 417.71 Nvidia Driver and it`s working fine so far.

I updated late last night so haven't had a chance to test it...but from what has been written, fingers crossed.
