So, about 18 months ago, I used to use the PGA9 leaderboard for Tier Cups on a weekly basis using the Challonge website.
Time has passed and I have now created spreadsheets which you can access from the above link for which all I have to do is copy and paste the leaderboard, so a lot less admin for me.
How does it work?
You play the PGA 9 rounds, if you finish in the top 16 of your Tier (any ties which means more than 16 would qualify are sorted on last 9 holes, then 18, 27 and if still tied, I will check scorecards for last 3, then 6 and if still tied, whoever is highest on World Rankings), you will be entered into the following week's event. The draw is seeded, so top seed plays 16th, 2nd plays 15th and so on. The winner is who's PGA9 score for the appropriate round is lowest. If the scores are tied, the higher number seed goes through on a giantkiller rule. S this means the "better player" (based on the previous week) HAS to shoot lower than their opponent to progress.
There is a Cup for Tour Pros, Pros and Amateurs.
It is all automated, so it currently shows the current "predicted" Winner if no further scores are posted for this week.
Bit of fun but of course there will be points for if you qualified, and how far you get in each comp and an Honours Board.
The current comp uses the leaderboard from events finished 16th Jan for the seedings.
Cheers
Andy

PGA 9 Weekly Cups
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
Play well and enjoy your game everyone!
btw, not a game for snowflakes.
