March 2019 Tier movements

Post by Affo »

As per the previous month, the player movements for March 2019 will take place this evening ready for the new month starting Fri 1st March 2019.

Promoted from Pro to Tour Pro due to continued good scoring, congratulations:

GTGplaya
jspirate
Bluesman
UK4LifeBBN
Often Rong
scoops100
Briso
BOWHUNTER615

These players averaged under the 65.73 threshold needed for Tier movement. The overall average for Pro players for January (ignoring the highest and lowest 10%) was 71.06

Players permitted to move to Amateur level if they wish:

JoeMen
Dmanz56
Divot_McSlice
SKUNKY
bob22t
schda
Toni_N
norsiwel

Promoted from Amateur to Pro level due to continued good scoring are:

Noone. Due to the overall average scores of Amateurs being tightly grouped, no one triggered promotion, which is wrong and will be changed.

Perhaps, the lowest scoring Amateurs would like to promote themselves?

Noone averaged under the 65.19 threshold needed for Tier movement. The overall average for Pro players for January (ignoring the highest and lowest 10%) was 70.48

Players permitted to move to Hacker level if they wish:

BadEddieKit
grizzly06
robvalkyrie
MWOJC05
Golferdee

Promoted from Hacker to Amateur level due to continued good scoring are:

No players promoted from Hacker Tier

Players permitted to move to Pro level if they wish from Tour Pro:

These players averaged more than the average Tour Pro score plus 7.5% - 72.54

Good luck for March everyone.

The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Before I get any backlash about "i don't enjoy playing at TP, I only play for fun and it's no fun at TP" I have stated before that there are rules in place which relate to playing in the Tour events which are PGA9, PGA18, Stableford and Open. If you do not want to risk changing Tier because you are shooting low scores all month, do not play these events, plenty of others to play which will not be scrutinised for average scores.

If you choose to play them and your average dictates a move, you will be moved and you will remain at the new Tier until your averages dictates you are able to move down.

Good luck to those promoted, sure you'll be scoring well very soon.

Cheers Andy!!! And welcome to the new TPs. I hope that the pair-up tourney is included in the mandatory levels.
