with this amount of time it has been down.
i believe it is either going to be good or bad, maybe
they are done. or maybe a forum revamp due to the release of PG2
lets just hope for the good reason, and not the bad.

This is the longest it's ever been down and that is alarming. Again we have no hard copy of the game so the community can't take the game over and Mod it like Links 2003. I would have thought that if it would have been back up by now but it not good that it's not. I am out of action till the end of the month as I am traveling so I don't know but can you still play the game and all the courses right now? Deep down I just can't see them keeping the server up if there won't be a JNPG2 the question is when does that happen.

All I will say is WRONG, modding might be out of the question but who knows. No more talk from me till it happens though.

I did not use OGT for my second course (I only have 2). Although to be fair, Slice did give me some feedback on the PP forum. So, I guess in effect I did. I appreciated his efforts very much.

Don't get me wrong. I am glad that people are willing to spend their time providing feedback. I am just saying that video isn't a way I am willing to use. It's all about my time. If testers don't want to provide feedback because it takes too much time to do reviews by posting pictures and using text, then I will be the first to say I COMPLETELY understand that.

We all have our preferences and in the end, maybe I will save some testers the time it takes to make a beta test video of one of my courses. If I ever get enough free-time to finish my current WIP!

I used OGT as well before it shut down to money givers only but I did get valuable feedback on Hazeltine National so I am happy. Not happy now with how I finished it (textures) but I did spend over 40 rounds testing it myself so I caught most things.

I will not use a video either to get feedback, if you can't either just provide text or a straight picture like in the old days then you shouldn't be testing. It's really not that hard and it saves you a ton a time making a video and wasting bandwidth and server space as well.

I have 4 courses in the works but when and if they get done is anyone's guess because I guess I am burnt out again on designing.
