event not starting.

Noticed this a few times recently. I select an event to play and get to the "ready" screen but after clicking on "start" nothing happens. Mentioned only in the context that someone at PGLS might be able to pick the lock.

Tonight it was PGA18 at Summerlin but over the last couple of weeks it's been other events and other courses. Straight after I posted here I went over to "the other side" and was able to play no problem. As I'm writing this I've tried Summerlin again and it still won't start. I click on the "start" button which registers the click as it turns a lighter shade of green momentarily. And yes, I did check the "ready" box first. I escape by clicking on "end round".

I just turned to PGA9 at Chilworth and that started fine.

thats the second time went to play summerlin and it crashed the game on loading.played round 1.went to play round 2 ,crash.computer went weird,got that sorted with windows update.played round 2 ok.went to play round3 crashed game again.dont no if i should try again.keeps throwing me to desktop.

Can you take a look in the PG "Console" please. Usually it's the F8 key. See if you see any errors relating to PGLS in there.

Only a couple of things to note in that, neither of which I don't think would stop any tournies from loading though ...

1. "Cannot load friends rounds" - A strange one as I thought these were held on the PG server.

2. Either your "autoexec.cfg" in the "\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config" folder contains invalid code or you set invalid entries in "Set Launch Options..." for PG.

Also try selecting a different round using the "Round Selector" ...

pgls_round_selector.php

and see if it starts any other round.

I noticed a bracket ( in the first line of "Set Launch Option" ( -game_upColor=255,255,0,150

It should be -game_upColor=255,255,0,150

There is a closing bracket after -game_tracer_color=255,0,0

and it could be as simple as removing both brackets
