dancing rabbit bug

Post by Flyer01 »

Played the first rd. of PGLS 18 on Dancing Rabbit and came across a similar problem on two different holes. On the par 5 second as soon as I hit my tee shot I heard tree branches crashing and my ball only carried 10 ft. and finished at 84 feet. On the par 4 9th the same thing happened with the ball carrying 21 inches and finished at 45 feet. There are no trees anywhere near the tee to crash into. I parred the 2nd and bogied the 9th. I always play a big draw and my aim brings me right to the tree line and sometimes past on a lot of holes. It did on these two as it did on lots of others. Not sure if this might be what triggers the glitch. I don't care about the extra shots because there have been times the game gives me back a shot I don't really deserve but I hope it's not going to happen every rd.

I have had "invisible collider" issues on this course before as well. Still in wait and see mode for this tourney, as I have not played a round yet.

I started the 2nd rd. and couldn't help anticipating my ball crashing into the trees, but it didn't. Everything was fine till the 11th. I hit a good drive down the centre of the fairway, was watching it roll out then suddenly I'm back on the tee with the avi frozen on the follow thru and the ball still on the tee. Tried waiting, then hitting all kinds of keys and buttons but it stayed frozen. The only thing it let me do was take another shot without aiming. After a delay it had me positioned out in the left side rough. Made bogie. I need all my concentration to have a good round and these hiccups just take all the fun away.

im thinking this is a newer bug as it has happened to me a few times recently on other courses
so i do not think this is a course related issue, but a game issue.

I agree Dave, I've had this frozen avi bug before but I never drove into the trees 21 inches in front of the tee box before or ten feet even. There's no trees there!

yea the no trees trees got me, then i hit into a hazard and my drop put me right at the base of a tree
that i needed to shoot through, that was enough for me, if i remember right the last time this course was used for a tourney
there where alot of complaints about the FPS would not surprise me if we see those again as this is one fps hog and not many courses
bother me in that dept.

Had to close my eyes after each shot to avoid feeling dizzy from low FPS stuttering. Shame, because otherwise this is a well executed and challenging course.

Frankly wondering why this course was used again after all the trouble last time. Oh well.

Strangely enough I got through round 1 without any of the hazards mentioned below - except for my own poor shots _ LOL
