HOW TO : Delete "Friends" Recorded Rounds

Post by Kimmer1947 »

Perhaps this topic should have been posted on the PP website, but I have more faith in this website.

When I start to create a SOLO round at JNPG, immediately what appears are "Friends" Recorded Rounds. None of these recorded rounds are from my friends. How do I delete these "Friends" Recorded Rounds?

Thank you.

in your steam game files where the courses folder is kept there is a folder for recorded rounds and saved shots
you can throw the your recorded stuff out there. if you are speaking of all the friends recorded rounds that now show up when you go into
solo in the game there is nothing that can be done about that at this time it is a PP thing might be better to address it on their forums

Your friends' recorded rounds are not stored on your computer/Steam/Perfect Golf folders. To remove them you must unfriend the person who recorded their rounds. Be sure your Steam status is set to (Online). Restart Steam then Perfect Golf and the recorded rounds will be gone.

Add your friends back to your list after the next PC power-on and Steam launch.

Lee,
Here's the irony. My "friends" recorded rounds are players that I've never heard of before. Namely, Parboy and sound_flier. How these players recorded rounds show up when I try to start a solo round remains a mystery.

i got this on mine too, i think pretty much everyone sees this when starting solo rounds.
this started happening when PP did the last update to enable the designer courses to show up in
offline play in case their server ever went down.
here is andrews post when that update was pushed.

I am thinking we have to accept this is a glitch or is purposely setup so we all have players' recorded rounds in the Solo Play category. I've asked a few of my friends since the last patch and they see the same thing.

I also asked if having so many recorded rounds effected PG loading time. The answer was no.

..oh well. I guess we live with it indefinitely. :hmmm:
