Player Stats

Post by Mwh65 »

Once the PGLS Tours starts on 3rd January 2020, player stats will be available separately from the PGA 9, PGA 18, Stableford 9, PG Classics and PGLS Open events ...

More great enhancements from behind the scenes.

Great work again making this great game even more interesting.

And as for the PGLS Tour just can't wait for it to start.

Since we try to follow the PGA Tour with PGA 18 will this change to random courses each week like PGA 9 and Stableford?

from Marks post in the opening thread.

I would like to announce the availability of our newest tourney called PGLS Tours where you get to play on either the American Tour or the Continental Tour, both of which cover a 46-week season.

This is effectively a simulation of the real PGA Tour and European Tour so in effect this can also be considered as a CAREER option.

Yes it should do - otherwise it'll be likely that we'll be playing the same course on PGA18 and the PGLS Tours - and that would not be desirable.

bob i understood that with the new tours the PGA18 would be done, maybe i misunderstood
can you shed a little light for me.

this is the lead post in the tours admin post by mark

I'm currently working on the PGLS Tours, as suggested by bobfletch (Bob) and Biffa (Les). This will replace PGA 18 and if all goes to plan should start in January 2020.

Dave, I am pretty certain it has since been agreed that PGA18 will continue - but tour courses will not be used as they are now.

Yes the original plan was to replace PGA 18 but we will leave it open for now.

With regard to the courses used on PGA 9 and PGA 18 once the PGLS Tours start they will no longer need to follow the tour courses used and indeed it would make sense for all other PGLS tournies to not duplicate the same courses used in the PGLS Tours each week.

Maybe before you decide to eliminate PGA 18 you could take a vote. I, for one, would like it to stay, especially since I do play PGA Classics but I really don't like handicap tournaments.
