We are looking at changing the current Stableford points allocation from the current one ...
to a slightly modified version previously used in the PGA ...
Double Bogey or worse - 0
Bogey - 2
Par - 3
Birdie - 5
Eagle - 8
Albatross - 11
The Poll will run for 7 days and as always you can change your vote.

Good for those risk/reward shots and if you are lucky enough (of course skill comes into it) to get an albatross, could really mix things up.
Currently it is just a strokeplay event (unless you get worse than a double bogey) with points, so a thumbs up from me...spice it up.

that is similar to the real life system, 3 was just added to all the points so as no one would get a minus score which can be disheartening.

yes because thats the official modified system which we should be playing. if someone gets a - so what? thought here and pg were trying to make this game as realistic as it can be?

I'm happy with the present system, think its a bit harsh to take away any hard earned points because you won them fair and square. Plus + 11 would give too much advantage for anyone who has an albertross (which on the rare times it happens is a very lucky shot) the present system often leads to a competitive and close game.

things get stale if everything stays the same.
