I would have liked to have seen one more option and that would be a little bit of both. I play many rounds with my partner CharlieB. We usually play 18 and then another 9 holes each night when we are available. I will vote no preference for now. One more note. Currently there are 14 tours, eight 9 hole weekly and one 3 days and one 5 days. 18 hole tournaments are two weekly, one by-weekly and one once a month. So 18 hole tournaments are really in the minority so not sure why the voting.

And then as Terbal commented in a 18 hole game if you get away to an ordinary start you have more holes to try and repair your score - hopefully.
