Re: What Did You Think
Very tough conditions especially with fairways and greens as unreliable as this course.I think many will struggle, but we all got to play same crazy greens and fairways.good luck next round lol

Re: What Did You Think
I love this as all Mikas courses mostly because their greensites, but I would never set them up with stimp 14 and especially not on hard greens. I think I will stop playing this weeks tour or the round at least before I start hating the course which I wouldn´t want, at this moment I don´t have the skill to play these conditions.
EDIT: I was 8 up after 4 holes and resumed later after cooling down and played even untill the 18th where I four-putted. So it might have been my bad approaches and putting that ruined my first round after all and not the setup. Did not mean to offend the organizers, and I can see the next round have stimp 9. Links style courses are often hard but they are so undulated the stimp is far lower than on the pga tour or augusta. And the ball would roll from the wind too.

Re: What Did You Think
That was a tricky pin..but as long as everyone is in the same boat, not fussed. R1 of Continental was a very good test and you really had to think your way around and use the contours of the approaches and the greens.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
Play well and enjoy your game everyone!
btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Re: What Did You Think
I really tried to put the pins, for rd 1, in the middle of the greens because of the conditions. Looks like on hole 9 I went too far left with my selection. Used pin 0 when I should have used pin 1. When you pick out these pins you can try to get the best angle by using F5 but honestly it doesn't always give you the best look at what your actually shot will look like. Since this tour is trying to mirror the PGA I try to make the conditions challenging but fair. Appreciate the comments, they will only make me strive to do a better job next time.

I use F2 when picking the pins and if your two near then use f5 to move about, by using the mouse wheel you can lower your view to see where the humps and bumps are. Some courses are really unsuitable especially when considering that not all players can fly close to the pin on the majority of holes.
