ok i juts went back to the game and it gave me a resume on hole 14 wow that was weird

This has happened to me before in fact did so in HDH yesterday. Finished the 18 holes, went to the site to check my score and it wasn't there.
Went back into the game and saw RESUME and found myself back on the tee at hole 16

Yep if Steam or PG disconnects then sometimes PG stops sending the data to PGLS, hence the issue you got.

Incredibly frustrating I know.
