3D
I thought we were not doing 3D courses for tourneys.
If it goes left, its a hook. If it goes right, its a slice. If it goes straight, its a miracle!

Re: 3D
Where there is a choice we will choose the non 3DG because some pcs struggle with the extra memory require, but as with Kingswood there is no choice. I think in time most designers with add 3DG as default so there will be no choice, it is already happening.

Re: 3D
Got to agree with Paul here, not trying to tell folks what to do but some need to step up and upgrade
to keep with the times as it will never go backwards when it comes to graphics, only get more demanding.
now that I have played round 1, and noticed the OP shot a -6 I got to ask him why even this post you seem to be able to play that course
just fine?

Re: 3D
I think there is a choice Paul. I have 2 other Kingswood files for courses. Kingswood_v_final and Kingswood_v_final2. Are they the same course? I know my computer is a bit older but I cannot afford to update currently. The 3D courses glitch on me. I missed 2 short easy putts the first round due to a glitch. This was a response from Mark regarding 3D courses for tourneys a while ago.;
If we had a vote, I would vote to avoid them.We try to keep both the 3DG version and non-3DG version of a course because of issues with lag on the 3DG version. When we set tournies we actively try to avoid 3DG versions.

Re: 3D
If you have those 2 versions of the same course installed it can most definitely cause problems. Many folks don't realize the importance of deleting the previous version of a course.LinksPro wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:22 pm I think there is a choice Paul. Re: 3D
The current version of Kingswood is "Kingswood 2020" and the zip file of "kingswood 3dg3"
You only need the 2020 version of this course.
The most current courses and zip files can be found here > pgcourses_data.php

Re: 3D
I have 2 drives on my computer. A 128GB Solid State Drive where the game and all the stock courses are installed and a 300GB D: drive where I put all the extra courses. I have over 300 courses on the D: drive and when I need one for a tournament I just move it over. Once the tournament is finished, I put it back in the other drive. I don't think they cause any problems. If you have those 2 versions of the same course installed it can most definitely cause problems. not everyone wants to go through all those changes to play a tourney, nor wants all the extra coursesLinksPro wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 11:35 pmI have 2 drives on my computer. in their course file, I only keep the files that are kept in the PGLS database, that way I always have the tourney course
and don't have to go changing files from 1 place to another a 1tb external hard drive can be got for under 50 bucks on amazon
if I had your issues that is the route I would take, just saying
heck if you don't mind using the Wish website you can find them there for super cheap
