When will I learn

Post by Greensboronclion »

So I come to 17 at TPC Sawgrass and am -6 and pin up front and instead of trying to play safe I hit two in the water before I stake one and one putt Triple Bogey. So I turned a 66 into 69 and that is the difference between the very best players and one of my caliber as you have to understand in this game you take what it gives you and dont get greedy. No doubt in my mind this is the best golf sim ever even in its unfinished state and as bad as that hurt it gives me joy that it felt real and like I imploded. :cheesy: I must say this PGLS Tour thing is pretty cool and only my 2nd event since coming back but really enjoyable even if I went a fed the Gators a few new Avent Balls. :cheesy:

I got to agree with you on all said here GB I am also one that takes way to many chances and lose out on most. I will say however I have finally started using the confusion stick (BLI) and it is not so confusing after all as it has made my putting much better. sure took me a while to break down to using it.

I have always preferred the BLI and it was all I used in Links and when I use it here I seem to putt better than with the Grid here. I might have to join you and switch totally over to BLI only. I still need the Grid for lies in the fairway.

Agree there, BLI is much more trustworthy than the grids on the green. I have the grid on still to give a rough idea of the lay of the land, but BLI is the tool to use for better putting imho.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

I still use the grid to as after countless years of playing golf titles I doubt i could go without it
but the BLI has sure been making a difference in my scoring since I started using it and i plan to keep it up
and learning more about it.
