Hi All
Its been a very difficult few months after buying a PC that was nothing but trouble since April when I bought my PC through Amazon it as been back 4 times for repair all the while I was lied to by a bunch of complete cowboys. Warning never go near a set up that goes under the name of ADMI ltd/AWD-IT. Finalling got a full refund by going through my bank and visa a/c.
Would like to thank three members who helped and advised me with getting a new PC, Crusher (lee) and DCI Jones (Baz) for being there and guiding me in the right direction and especially Mwh65 (Mark) for listening and being patient with me all the way through my difficulty's and spending many hours helping me to find the faults and advising me all the way. This is a great club with helpful members and I'm very glad to be a part of it.
Looking forward to getting back into the swing and playing a few games over the next few days

Re: I'm Back at last
Great to hear Paul. Well done to those who provided support and advice at a troubling time.
For all members, so far as advice that can help to avoid such a situation in future, it is advisable for anyone making what is such a major purchase to get a few people to look over the offer you are interested in taking up. Although in a honest world such action should not be necessary, a deeper check of customer feedback, a track record of supply and support, and reassurance on the scope and build of a machine not just for 'now' but into the future with adaptability for upgrade to accommodate future developments in the PC market are all issues which should be considered. A more seasoned and expert eye is sometimes very helpful to avoid such pitfalls.
Also, if members have the facility to do so, be aware that major purchases (and even minor ones) can benefit from full legal protection and consumer rights when purchased using a credit card. That is all part of the credit provider/merchant agreement. You can always elect to pay off the full amount for the purchase at the end of your credit statement period and your protection is still in place. It never does any harm to have as many avenues open to you to fight your corner for a refund in the unfortunate event of a problem.
