I was late getting home for round 6 pair-up.
A question: If I was to start let's say a half hour before ending time and we didn't get finished until after the ending time will the round still count ?

No it won't. Round has to be finished before deadline.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.
