Post here anything to do with technical issues with computers in general. Don't expect a response but I'm sure people would be happy to try.

Virus Total

I may have posted this link in the past but it's a Bookmark or Favorite everyone should keep in whatever web-browser they choose. Total Virus allows you to upload any type of file to be scanned by dozens of various brand-name virus detection engines. Upload unfamiliar installation applications or other files you've found in your Operating System. I use it a lot and it's worth it "big time". It's free too! :good:

Are there any files I should check to help me stop getting those damn sliders? So weird they come and go with no reason or consistency. Can go 25 rounds without any and then get two in a row playing 9 holes.

If you can go 25 rounds and nothing happens then my suspicions would be "heat". Likely suspects: CPU or GPU. You could download Speccy to keep an eye on your components' temps. It's free too. All you would have to do is minimize your game after a slider and look at the GPU and CPU temps very quickly. They will be located in your Notification Area aka System Tray. Nice little program.

Suspect #2: Would be a program randomly checking for updates. Suspect Three: PUP or Adware.

Use Microsoft's Safety Scan download. I use this once every couple of months to make sure my security is working as it should.
