What A Nightmare

Post by Golferdee »

Interested to hear your thoughts on the course setup for this week.

Only played 2 rounds so far and missed 6 holes in the 1st round and 9 holes in the 2nd round for my worst scores ever.

Some greens just wouldn't hold the ball no matter how or where I hit it. During the 2nd round on one hole my ball twice hit a non existent tree.

But as we always say we all have to play the same course and conditions - I guess just a little less frustrating would have been better.

i know what ya mean i missed 8 in the first round myself, I tested this course
and they are all makeable shots as or i would not have posted it for use, but they sure are tough
i got to agree, i think i may make a note next to this one in the list cause at 12 stemp i could not hold a lot of the greens either.

got round 2 played and did much better was 10 stimp and that is what I test these courses on when I do
maybe in the future when I test them I will go up to 12 on the stemp to make sure the greens are holdable
i don't think I have ever seen these tourneys set any higher then 12 stemp in the past.

Dreadful challenge. I look forward to this but this week was anything but enjoyable. I vote for this course to be removed from the list.

I will not be continuing after the first round.

i have noted this in the list as not to use but have left it in the list due to maybe sometime
we may be able to use it in a skills distance situation if we ever do that sort of tourney
since there in a MOP for it.
sorry all I guess I should look a little better at these when testing my bad.

No need for apologies Dave. I get the impression that the challenge tees on this course were not intended for Skillz purposes but I could be wrong.

That's it exactly certainly no need for apologies - you do a great job with these tournies and we appreciate it. :joy:

This was the worst skillz challenge ever devised by man. Someone who did not think about how one can reach the greens from a tee box par 4 or greater. Maybe I'm missing something here, but you do not achieve any gain in points for landing short of the greens. So for the individual who put this together, congratulations on your master piece of excrement. :rtfm:
