PGA 9 this week

Post by noelw1969 »

There are obvious problems here.

First off, my mate Stoney keeps getting put on Tour Pro level and cannot post a score. Ironically, he was only moved up to TP on the second hole after playing the first as amateur.

Secondly, just after we discovered the issue of Stoneys playing level, I realised that we were playing the same hole over and over again.

Is this stuff that can be resolved as I feel a lot of rounds will be wasted and not posted ?

Noel,

Stoney is not set to play at PGLS at Tour Pro because at present we do not have a Tour Pro level... it is coming in a week or two when we begin the new season.

Stoney's default player should be set as the level of play he is currently assigned, and his scores will register.

Scores are not posted if played at the wrong level.

Stoney only has one player set and that is an amateur level player but it keeps putting him on Tour Pro for this tourney. Whatever is happening is not of his doing.

We are currently playing the PGA 18 with no issue.

OK,

All saved game data for you and Stoney's PGA9 round have now been cleared out.

At your leisure, try starting again, making sure your default play is correct, and let us know the result.

Thanks Mike.

You didn't have to do that but we'll give it a go.

Just tried to restart but we are showing as being in exactly the same positions as we were before.

However, having started play, we are both showing as amateur level players both playing the second round. Seeing as Stoney did not complete his first round, will he be able to complete it later ?

Looks like all is well.

We did our second round and then Stoney was able to complete his first round.

Thanks Mike.

Ok... good to hear. A player can join a round when invited, and he will still have the remainder left to complete.

Good to hear that the levels were all correct.
