Unfortunate News

Post by Riddler »

Looks like the next PGLS Tour, Continental, is a wash. Steady rain for 3 of the 4 days and windy at Carnoustie in Angus, Scotland. So either 4 rounds of S/S and stimp 8 with breezy winds or can make it easy for all with 4 rounds of calm with normal conditions.

The American tour in Las Vegas just the opposite. Going to be hot and dry. Looks like 4 rounds H/H stimp 13 and 14 with wind 10 to 15 MPH. Since I enjoy the critical comments so much, NOT, thinking again make it more playable with calm winds and normal conditions.

All comments appreciated,

Alan

Happy to play whatever you throw at us Alan. If that's the real conditions then let's have 'em :)
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Yes, real conditions. Picture of weather for Angus taken this am and I live 90 miles from Vegas so can assure you those conditions are correct.

Agree with all the comments, we all play the same conditions so it shouldn't matter.

I'd also go with the real conditions, but would be mindfull that the winds as they rise beyond 20 are nothing like real. winds in your face over 20mph per hour are more like 27 mph and so frustrating that you cant reach a par 4 green anyway like in 2.
