cape kidnapers
Excellent course but seriously one poor shot you go into the bushes 12 atempts later still cant move the ball out . front 9 was -7 rage quitted after so many attempts to get the ball from the bushes, should be OB and take a drop and a penalty.

Exactly. Designers design courses to beat you. Nothing about having fun. Those guys who will disagree are the top 10% players who never miss a snap. Can you spell c-o-n-t-r-o-l-l-er? Played that course. Hit several perfect snap drives that went down huge slopes to the rough. They penalize you for hitting a good shot. Not golf.

Re: cape kidnapers
got to agree with the point that some designers, design to defeat.
mostly on the fantasy courses. i try to avoid those courses and the designers who build to defeat
we got a lot of great built courses that are mainly the real courses to keep me busy.

Happened to me too Maxie...halfway through my first round. I must have been on about my 12th attempt out of bushes before i gave up. I will just miss the rest of this tourney out.maxie wrote: Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:18 pm Excellent course but seriously one poor shot you go into the bushes 12 atempts later still cant move the ball out . front 9 was -7 rage quitted after so many attempts to get the ball from the bushes, should be OB and take a drop and a penalty.

Can we at least agree that this is a beautiful course and a really good job by the designer? Cape Kidnappers is a real course and this designer (Dropzone) has shown in the past his attention to detail and realisim. Giving credit where credit is due, this is a fine test (stay on the FW) and I thank the designer for his work.

Re: cape kidnapers
This course is not good. Looks pretty but not very playable. I could not hit a wedge shot from any spot on the course without getting really bad stutter from swing meter. Other courses played good. I deleted course and reloaded without success. Still had same problem. Never finished this weeks tourney. Too darn hard to play.

Re: cape kidnapers
The problem with this update, the OOB's includes green side of tree/bush areas on lots of holes...so if you hit close to tree(but not in) you have to rehit.....thats gonna p**s players......either the oob area need extending out (away from green) or revert to old update and just avoid the hazards........Great course btw......buty
