Okay, the "hash" is the culprit! I was having the same problem, both courses show up in the carousel, but it will only stop on one. I just made a folder on my desktop and pull one out and drag one over depending on the sky I want to see. Actually, I'm putting together about 5 different sky versions, but I won't dump them all on you!Mwh65 wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 10:06 pm Due to both versions using the same course hash you can only load the Eagle Eye GC Cloudy" version from the PG carousel no matter which one you pick. To play the original version of Eagle Eye GC you will need to close PG remove "Eagle Eye GC Cloudy" from the "Courses" folder and re-open PG.

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
looks like I will only be playing and leaving 1 version in my folder
as I don't like trying to jump in and out of the game due to not having the right version and with a bunch of different versions
coming I will not look to use this in multi player. Mark, I would think we may also need to leave notes on this course about this issue with multicourses
working under the same name and maybe it should be left out of tourney play just to keep everyone sane.

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
I was only kidding about uploading five more versions. I got to thinking about what Mark said about a "hash" tag, so I think I got the problem fixed. Here's a link to the "partly cloudy" version. This should show up alongside the "final" version with no problems choosing either one. Sorry, for the trouble my friend. Actually, I didn't know Mark would upload the "partly cloudy" version separately when I posted about it on the PP forum.davefv92c wrote: Fri Mar 12, 2021 11:51 pm looks like I will only be playing and leaving 1 version in my folder

Mark, I edited the splash screen also to make it even easier to identify if you want to post that instead of the one you have. Sorry, for the trouble, guys!

EDIT: Just tested my carousel to see what happens and everything is good. I chose the 8K sky and got it, then tried the "wispy" sky version (final) and got it. Woo hoo! Now, I just need to stop tinkering and changing stuff!

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
TBH I really don't see much of a difference after doing 9 on each
maybe it is just me. but then again my eyes are zeroed in on the ground level
and not the sky, and I am running 2560x1080 on a 200Hz monitor so maybe that is why.
who knows. I do know this is a fine course and plays great kinda makes me wonder what you may come up with next
this being your first I would think they will only get better from here.
thanks again for the great course.

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
Eagle Eye is running in the latest PG Classic at the moment. I chose the origional version just so you know. Being aware that not all players have the most up to date equipment I tend to always choose the lower end settings as an example I dont set 3DG when I dont have to because it is know that this does affect play for those with lower end equipment, also I steer clear of courses using reflection because that also can cause problems for some.
I would like to praise Jugador for the eagle eye design I have much enjoyed playing it and look for to future courses from him.

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
Thanks, Dave, appreciate the compliment...good point about the monitor. I play on a 40 inch 4k monitor. My older 18 inch 1920x1080 might not have looked much different, either. Mine looks like the screenies on page 1, but I didn't think about what it might look like for everybody. I'm just glad we got the carousel problem fixed. No more updates, I promise!davefv92c wrote: Sat Mar 13, 2021 10:55 am TBH I really don't see much of a difference after doing 9 on each

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
Jugador TBH my 35" looks much better than my 40 " 4k which I still also have
and I am running pretty much 4k on the 35". but I still don't see much difference
would like to hear what some others see in the difference maybe I need to do a little fine-tuning on my monitor
but I don't believe so. maybe it has something to do with the sharpness modification I did in the Nvidia control panel
that makes both look great as it really helps make all the courses pop in this game.
I also have a friend that has the Ryzen card in her unit and she also adjusted her sharpness and it worked out the same for her as she says it is much better now if you have not tried this I would give er a try.
here is how to do it on the Nvidia cards, must not be much different with the Ryzen cards cause she figured out how to do it by reading these instructions.
(/right click desktop /Nvidia control panel// manage 3d settings // Program Settings // add Perfect Golf . exe // Image Sharpening, Sharpen 1.00, ignore film grain 0 //I just tried it amazing so clear I thought I was actually there lol) this is from a post by cubbies

Re: Eagle Eye 8K Skybox!
Thanks! I'll definitely check it out. Here's a screenshot of my in-game settings (for what it's worth). I think we both agree the lighting is crucial for the best immersive experience! Let me know if you see anything in either version that would improve the course.
