The splash screen for Falconhead says Conifer, CO, and the first time I loaded the course I thought, "Hey, I know where that is". The course may be fictional but Conifer is a real place. I had also expected that considering its altitude, the drive distances would be comparable to Castle Pines or longer. According to Google, Conifer is 8,277' ASL, even higher than Castle Rock (6,224' ASL) where Castle Pines is located.

Alas, Falconhead the fictional course only boasts an elevation of Sea Level. It initially threw off my expectations of drive distances and such, but I still had a good round (the best of my four, as it turned out). Although it might seem like a trivial change to "correct" the elevation to that of the real Conifer, CO, it's not that simple, as the whole course layout is predicated on club distances, and changing the altitude would drastically alter the character of the course and the playing experience.

Chuck Norris can get an albatross on a par 3.
