Changing in-game colours for visability, and other useful changes

Post by MiMiC »

Tired of not being able to see your swingmeter in certain situations around the course, for example, when in bright sand?

A quick addition of a file to your system will help with this.

See the post at http://pgls.golfladders.co.uk/forums/vi ... t=10#p6238 for details.

I do have problems seeing the meter when in the sand or bright sunlight in my face and would love to have some control over the colours on the meter. However the link you gave in your post is not working for me. Any help would be most appreciated.

Here is the color combo I use for my meter:

--game_upColor=139,0,0,199
--game_downColor=65,105,255

It is red going up, and light blue coming down. Works for me.

I must change mine again.

I agree some sand shots are almost impossible to play with a camouflaged meter

Slight problem here. I have located the Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config folder. I have also located
--game_upColor=139,0,0,199
--game_downColor=65,105,255 and clicked to copy, but I can not paste the code into the above mentioned file?

Did you first create an autoexec.cfg file?

Open Notedpad. Paste meter color in there. Then, SAVE AS all files, autoexec.cfg

Hope this helps.

Aubrey,

The above link (top post) has been updated.

Simply download that very small file, which is zipped, and just unzip it into the config folder.

That should then work.

Hay Mike and Warren, Thank you both very much. My meter looks great with the new colours.

Is there a file to change the colour on the dots on the meter, I rely on the yardage with these dots, so colour for those would work for me and a lighter colour for the ups and downs i'm thinking
