Hi, tech-savvy laptop people,
I'm heading for several months in hospital and, since I play PG on desktop, need to get a suitable gaming laptop asap. I mainly play PG, but also occasionally racing games such as Wreckfest and Project Cars 2. Prefer to buy new. What min specs should I be looking at? Many thanks for suggestions. Sorry to be so general in my enquiry, but I've no prior experience of gaming laptops (have a Lenovo x220 but that will only play basic games)

I would go for something like Acer nitro 5. Comes in 15.6 or 17.3 screen.
Check out specs and look for something along those lines m8.
Prices £649 or £699.

Acer Nitro 5 AN517-41 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop is better laptop but a bit pricey m8, around £1200 YIKES !

sorry to hear that Joe....my laptop is a acer predator i5 gtx 1060 8gig got it for £900 from costco i while back...works a treat....good luck m8

Cheers guys for the advice - opted for an Acer Nitro 5 15.6in i7 8GB 1TB GTX1660Ti (£849 at Argos)
