Move Tee Ball

Can anyone here tell me how to move the tee ball left or right on the tee - I have tried ctrl/t but can't seem to make it work - is there another way to do this?

put your cursor behind the ball, left click and drag it to where you want it
and let off the button.

Tried that - doesn't seem to work - just get the "cheat stick" showing up and ball won't move

Wait until your cursor changes to a ball icon before left clicking and dragging left / right ...

Is it happening on every course or just this one in particular?
I have found a few courses that will not allow you to move the ball.
Can't remember them offhand though.

It often takes several tries before the cursor "picks up" the ball.
