Attended The Valspar Championship on Sunday March 20th. I just want to say, the re-creation on Perfect Golf, is, well, perfect. I had a chance to walk the course. Took some pictures of tee boxes and greens, and in the game, they are very very good replicas of the real thing. Also observed that many of the tour players, some exceptions, are small men. But man can they hit it! Sat across from the pond on 12 and NO ONE in 12 groups that came through tried to hit it over the trees to the small fairway to the left of the tee. They all laid up, and you could almost put a hat over where every single player hit to, in front of the pond. They were generally 170-174 out coming over the front bunker to a pin 15 feet past. Many players were within 10-12 feet. Saw 6 birds there. NO ONE who hit the green past the trap bounced and rolled anywhere close to the 11 to 15 yards common with Normal/Normal in our game. Why? Because they hit that distance with an 8 iron or 9 iron, and either they can stop the ball with that club, or backspin.
It was a great experience.
Was a spectator on Innisbrook Copperhead on Sunday
