For many years I have participated in most of the tournaments here on PGLS and have found it very sporting to participate in the action.

Unfortunately, to my regret, over the years the event has developed in a direction that I personally consider very questionable. The tournaments are becoming more and more unrealistic in terms of the settings and I have gained the impression that it is no longer about doing justice to all participants.

When I look at the results every week, I see that a group of about 10 players almost exclusively decide the winners among themselves. And this with results that lack any realistic comprehensibility. Therefore, I will now withdraw from all tournaments until Mark's circumstances are implemented, which again put the fun and the sportsmanship in the center.

Personally I would like to say only one thing to the players who use "dishonest aids". In my eyes you are a disgrace to the gentleman sport of golf.

In this sense I would be pleased if my arguments are not considered as flaming, but to the rethinking and/or reconsideration of the situation here on PGLS stimulate.

Very good post there Hanns, I have been complaining about the same for many moons.
and also quit playing the tourneys a month or so ago, even though you may see me in the skills tourney
just to keep up my short game. these tourneys have been being set for the top 10/15% of the players for quite a while now.
with no care being used to promote the game and tourneys for the new and less involved who do not have all day to set in front of their computers and play but have RL things they must tend to.since I have been a setter for a few years here and I do consider am also in that 10/15%, but I have always complained here in open forum and also in the admins forum but my posts have always been blown off by the other admins along with players in that 10/15% of the best players here so I pretty much gave up trying to make the tourneys better for the newer players and less involved.
now on the other hand there is really no answer here for this issue. what we really need is another competing site to do tourneys but the buttwhipes will not let any other sites be developed by allowing the API to be used by any other than this site. the real blame for that issue is on the guys that gave us a half ass unfinished game. so what do ya do. just play for fun and screw the tourneys that was my answer.

Can you clarify what you mean by "Marks circumstances " please.

Personally I would like to say only one thing to the players who use "dishonest aids".

If you have proof of this then let me have details of these "aids" in a Private Message and I will look into it.

Let's be very candid about what we are seeing over the past six months.

Tbone who became a moderator and got to know Affo, is dominating several tournaments. He was never that good before becoming a moderator. Having said that, what else can people suspect is going on? That's my two cents. Not surprisingly the two lowest scoreres, Affo and NibNob do not participate hardly at all anymore. Did they get tired of winning and moved on to 2K golf?

Tbone and Affo. You both may be offended and I am not sorry about that. And if you must respond, keep it civil.

Comon Lee you cant honestly think that being a moderator is the reason for anyone winning a tourney.....thats crazy.....Tbone has always been a real good player......as for me i have stopped playing most tourneys, getting a little bored with playing so many tourneys but i still enjoy pairs/divs/tours/alt games.....and the odd pga18

Totally laughable Lee. Any score changes by Admin are recorded and PM'd to me and yes any admins can change scores.

Tbone always been a great player in my eyes and nothing to do with being a moderator lol.
I am a moderator and win f**k all lol.
