Week 6 2nd week in Feb 7/2/17 Midweek Challenge came from the Back 9 of Firestone South

Some Exciting golf is what you would expect on this Championship Course and we were not dissappointed It was tit for tat in the first group out with never more than a point either way and all four players were lvl on 17pts. Some nervy tee shots left three of the players in the trees which allowed Rascal to go through with a 1 point lead of 19pts on Aubey 18 pts With Seasider47 not making any inroads on his 17pts. In game 2 Ergo76prop and Kennetharry could not be seperated and tied on 21 points And winning the competition that week. Biffa scored a credible 19 pts. Comeback Kid DCI Jones came in with a credible 16 pts but was just outscored by Jollybandino on 17

Week 7 16/2/2017 Mid Week Challenge East Sussex National - West Back 9

Close Finish tonight at East Sussex Nation. " players Tide for first place and three others all level in 2nd spot. Ergo Just managed to keep his lead against Kenny by 21pts to 20 on the final hole in group 1. Whilst Jolly and Dan both came in with 20 pts in Group 2. In the final group Mimic stormed ahead and looked very much like he would beat 21pts but a late hole caused a slip up and a very close miss on the 18th left him with an equal score of 21pts

Week 8 Feb 22 2017 Mid Week Challenge Game Reviera Country Club Back 9

Ergo dominated the game just as he has done this Month, Winning by 3 clear points and a 23pt finish. He was chase by a trio of players Kenny, Cobra and Lexton all scoring 21 points but they couldnt get near him Biffa and Dunc both came in with 20pts each on what was a cracking night Ar Reviera Contry Club

Week 9 first March Mid Week Challenge Game Course : Ridgeway Municipal

Course with narrow tree line fairways that requires shots on target to keep away from trouble as the first group out discovered. Ken and Seasider started well but wayward shots late in game reduced scoring. 2nd Group out was a very close game between Dunc and Perc with Dunc coming in with the best score of the night. In Final Group Jolly and Baz battled all the way and eventually came in together both on 20 pts

Week 10 Wed 9/3/17 Mid Week Challenge Course Georgia Pines (aka Augusta) Back 9
This was the first week that Mid Week Challenge has been played through our Create A game System. It will make the setting and hosting of games much simplier besides allowing each group on the course keep in touch with other groups playing at the same time on the live leaderboard. Georgia Pines is not a simple course, complex greens and water hazards make it very difficult but there were some exciting scores tonight. Ken took the honours with a 23pt round, no mean feat on this course. Sexton in group two also had a good round with an Eagle 4 pts on the par 5 13th. and continued to push on to make 20pts at the end. I had one of my best rounds here with 18pts also and ended up only 5th.

Week 11 Mid Week Challenge 15/3/2017 Course: Dry Gulch Front 9

On a hot, dry and windy Course Some very high scores were recorded. Ist Group out Dan scored 25pts and Carl came in with 22pts. The middle group all scored 20 or more and in a reduce final group just 1 pt seperated Lex and Dunc. Due to Technical problems Kenny was unable to finish so we will record is score at a later opportunity

Week 12 Wed 22/3/17 Mid Week Challenge Course: Valhalla Back9

Near perfect conditions for tonights game, very little wind, greens responsive but not over fast and easy pins. The course was still very much a challenge and the greens still very difficult. three groups went out with the first group on the whole the most successful with 3 of the four players providing the highest scores. Dan Fergison scoring 23pts to head the scores and both Ken and Steve (Ergo) not far behind on 21pts each

Week 13 29/3/2017 Mid Week Challenge Course Club Schwarswald

Today we visited a classic PG Course Club Schwarswald. The course was challenging but as usual brought out some very good scores. 3 groups went out on the course. In the first group two of March top scorers battled it out for the honours but in the end Dan just triumphed with 21pts over Kenny with 20 pts. In Group 2 all three Seasider, Crusher and Dunc equalled each other until hole 18 when a Birdie gave Dunc top spot with 17 pts over Crusher and Seasider both with 16pts. In group 3 Aubrey was unlucky on the 16th hole when his ball lipped the hole for a hole in one. Biffa in pursuit of the top spot for March Matched Dan's 21pts To be equal on points joint winner of the game

Week 1 of our April Challenge. Quite a few false starts before game finally got going for some. But competition was fierce at the top and 3 players all came in with 19 points
