What a well played Cup by both teams.

Thank you Mark H for setting this up.

Internationals fought their guts out. NIB & Cobra and Coach & Poison were just about unbeatable. Well done guys.

Came down to two unknowns on the last hole of the last match. Paul had the early mojo going, but Joe chipped away at the lead until he made two brilliant approach shots on 15 & 16 to keep it in question.

Paul - you were a great addition to team International. Well done mate!

Now....lets talk Ryder Cup.

Congratulations to the USA team on what has to be one of the closest played in either the Ryder Cup or Presidents Cup at PGLS.

International 14½ USA 15½

Full scores are here ...

Thanks also go to all the players that took part this year especially the captains, bbbuckshot1 and JMK59 for both sides. Again exemplary conduct from the players on both sides in getting the matches played.

See you all next year for the PGLS Ryder Cup which is officially being played at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Italy but is a course we don't have in Perfect Golf, yet :ermm:

Thanks to Mark for hosting such a great event. I really look forward to these events every year. This was a hard fought match by both teams. Thank you to the Captains, John and Rod, you both did a great job. Thanks you to the International players for the great competition and great sportsmanship throughout the tourney. This was truly a great experience and my playing competitors and teammates made it that way.
