Post here anything to do with technical issues with computers in general. Don't expect a response but I'm sure people would be happy to try.

Beginners Guide to building your first Gaming PC

Good stuff here gang. Always keep this in mind. You can build a powerful computer to play JNPG and other games for 25% less (on average) than buying an OEM computer online or off the shelf in a walk-in store. The 25% could range between 200 and 500 dollars depending on the gaming Rig.

Let me validate that statement with my cost per item list on my current Rig that I built in January 2016.
1. EVGA GTX 970 SSC 4GB PCI-e Video Card $350.00
2. Corsair Gold Certified 850 Watt PSU $225.00
3. 8GB Corsair 2400MHz Memory Kit $45.00
4. Intel i5 4690K 3.5GHz CPU - OC to 4.6GHz $230.00
5. Case can be anything you want. My cost was $90.00
6. Hydro H60 Liquid CPU Cooler (CLC) $55.00
7. Motherboard Asus Z97-E USB3.1 $125.00
8. Your choice of HDD or SSD (range $50 to $100)

Total:...................................................$1,120.00 (plus your choice of primary drive)

Now look at the cost of an OEM pre-built Gaming Computer with nearly the same components: $1700.00 to $2000.00
Example. Look at this beauty (Digital Storm Bolt). Don't get me wrong, this is one helluva nice PC for JNPG. But if you build one you'll save $300.00 plus dollars.

The best improvement I got was when rebuilt my PC with Intel i5 and a Corsair liquid cooler with a new motherboard.
Now I really appreciate playing JNPG with a smooth meter and better FPS.
Thanks to Lee for his support.

I enjoyed helping you choose new hardware, optimizing Windows and migrating the OS from an HDD to an SSD. You're somewhere between 450 and 475 Windows PC users I have helped since 2006 via TeamViewer. :drinks:
