This is an excellent article for beginners to experts on MBR vs GPT. I personally use MBR on my main SSD Drive (Disk 0). But my internal storage HDD (1TB) is GPT.
Though HDD is so much slower than SSD, the prices for huge HDD drives is very inexpensive. I personally don't need that much storage space. One terabyte is plenty - plus the cloud.
