Hi Mark,
Always seem to have personal issues with zip files. When I click the "scan" button, I get the error message attached. Any suggestion to fix? Thank you.

Simply a guess here, but because File Explorer (ever since Windows 7, I think) treats ZIP files very similar to a folder. If you click on the ZIP file in the left pane of File Explorer, it's contents are shown in the right pane. It appears that the files are in a folder, but Windows is just displaying the contents of the ZIP file. Therefore, I think you might be running the program without actually unzipping the ZIP file. You may also notice that the icon for a compressed/ZIP file is very similar to a folder; if you examine them closely, I think you'll find a zipper shown on the ZIP file icon.

So, I'm guessing you need to extract the ZIP file before running the program. To do so, right-click the ZIP file you downloaded and choose "Extract to folder ______". The "________" should be the same name as the ZIP file. After you have extracted it that, you can open that newly created folder and then the program should run as intended.

(If you understand the ZIP files and how Windows treats them, please forgive/ignore the above advice.)


EDIT: OK, that probably isn't the issue, as I tried it without extracting and it seemed to be OK for me. Perhaps a firewall issue?

Kimmer looking at your very handy screenshot my program in your case is having trouble accessing a script at PGLS. I have sent you a Private Message regarding this.

Hi Mark,

Superb program but I've run into a discrepancy. It is telling me I have a duplicate course in the
pganational1_0_7_nonreflect (PGA National Champion NR) : Possible duplicate course of pganational1_0_6reflect (PGA National Champion)
One is the non-reflective and the other is reflective.

It's telling you it's a possible duplicate course :biggrin:

Because my program is searching by name that course is being picked up because they both contain "PGA National Course". You are of course correct that one is Non Reflective and the other is Reflective, so no action is necessary.

If you install Sedgefield CC Ross you will get the same issue as there is a PP version along with one created by Jeff M.
