Happy New Year

Post by Seasider47 »

Hello Everybody

Standing on the threshold of a New Year, I just like to thank a few people for the pleasure I've had playing this game in 2017 and being involved with PGLS. First I,d like to thank Mark who's site this is and who works tirelessly to put in the frame work that creates the many tournies we enjoy and who is constantly called upon to deal with the many problems that pop up in the maintaining of the site. Mark has done this for many years both here and on the World Golt Tour game before this and this site stands way above others.

Secondly I'd like to thank Mike who works with Mark in making this site tick over, setting up the tourneys. helping with the admin of running the membership and many other things.

Thanks also to my fellow Admin, Biffa (Les) TexasAces (Gordon) and Affo (Andy). Les sees to the Tuff Stuff and Sunday K O, Gordy runs the 24H challenge and Andy is responsible for the many stats you see on the sight, they also help out looking after the many needs to ensure the site flows smoothly.

I have been delighted by the success og both the Mid Week Challenge and Seasiders Seaside Challenge, I have had great fun in hosting and playing in these weekly events and hope both games continue to grow.

I would also like to thank all the many friends i've made playing here at PGLS. Competing against fellow members is to me the best part of playing the game and that sets it apart from other games. The social aspect is brilliant, wether it be a tourney where you can often find encouragement from other members or a ladder where you can tone up your competitive edge in the hope of beating your opponant, the game is nothing without this social element.

I wish you all a Happy new year and hope you will stick around to enjoy all the new games that the team is working on. I know that not all are happy about changes that have been made by PG Dev team, and there is uncertainty about the future of the game post PG2 but I believe that the game is still growing, new members join PGLS every day and the fun will go on and get better and better.

So Guys I look forward to sharing a game with you all in 2018. Bring it on

Well said Paul, second all of that and Happy New Year to all.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Hi to all,

I'd like to say thanks to Mark, who has to put up with so many hair-brained half-cooked ideas from myself, and always manages to sort the wheat from the chaff somehow. Also a huge thank you to all of the admin team who keep this site fresh and exciting every week with set-ups, as well as being there for the members whenever their are issues or grumbles.

This site, however, would be nothing without the enthusiasm and loyalty of its membership, and their inspiration to provide the sort of game and competition they want to play. We are appreciative and humbled every week when we see the numbers playing, and thank each and every member for their participation and for evangelizing on our behalf to bring friends and relatives along to join the growing player roster.

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and a prosperous 2018 in health and happiness.

Thank you!

Mike

Well said Paul and Mike!! I've been a member of the PGLS site for less than a year and have found everyone so helpful and friendly. Long may it continue and hopefully it will carry on flourishing into 2018.

I wish everyone a very Happy New Year and look forward to many more enjoyable rounds of PG in the coming twelve months!!
