Bizarre error can't complete 10th hole at Deere Run

Post by Vainte »

So I'm currently on the 10th green 7 feet from the hole and every time i sink the putt PG places me back at the same spot and adds a stroke to my score.

I've sunk the same putt 3 or 4 times and I'm still 7 feet from the hole. Also, PG thinks I'm 18 feet from the hole.

Please cancel or reset this round, thanks.

I assume this is in the PG Classics tourney.

Have you tried closing out PG completely and doing a tourney resume rather than the resume shown on the main PG screen ?

May also be worthwhile checking you do not have more than one copy of TPC Deere Run in your courses folder. It may be identifying the correct version on entry, but then loading an older version when starting the game.

I have now removed your round, and the correct method for picking up Round 2 should be to ignore any resumes showing on the front page of PG, and instead go to TOURNAMENTS >> PUBLIC and use the event shown to begin round 2/4.

Thanks for fixing, wasn't aware resuming from front page could cause problems.

Shall use suggested method from now on...
