Stuttering

Post by Merlin69 »

For last couple of days I've noticed that when I hit a ball it seems to land and run in slow motion before stuttering to a stop; this seems to happen in games against another player rather than solo. Is this to do with the graphics settings on JNPG and if so how should I change them?

i believe it all to be connection issues, how much distance between you and other player
i think this has the most to do with the connection issues we are seeing. im in the US when playing others in the US
no issues , when im playing people from different parts of the world almost always the issue you are posting here Merlin

I'm playing with someone in the same country as me i.e. England; I've not played with others yet I think.

i always get it when playing with folks from your country whether i host or they do
now i can play with 3 from the US and 1 from worldwide and that 1 person can create this
same issue in game. to be honest i think this game is in dire need of a server upgrade, along with having the routing checked to see if we are making our connections in the least hops.

The PGLS server does not get called during players shots and therefore isn't relevant to lag issues.

Whoever is hosting does get involved in lag issues as well.

It would be very difficult to know exactly whose fault it was.
