Rounds on tourneys
How is it that you set the tourneys up to start on a Friday and yet by Sunday, some guys have missed out rounds 1-3 and started round 4? This I saw on the Hazard 9 Torrey Pine one.

Re: Rounds on tourneys
A player can join a host who has played the first 3 rounds.
Therefore as long as the joining player hasn't already played Round 4 then that players score will be recorded.

Re: Rounds on tourneys
So it's possible to host a game for 2-4 players on your tourneys then? Presumably though the player who only plays the 4th round won't do as well as those who've played all the rounds, as it seems the leader boards give priority positions to those who've played all the rounds, then next are the 3,2 and 1 rounders?

Re: Rounds on tourneys
The single player stroke tournies are capable of hosting up to 8 players but wouldn't recommend it due to time constraints. So it's possible to host a game for 2-4 players on your tourneys then?
The leaderboards do indeed order players by the number of rounds played and within that by strokes ascending for stroke tournies. However although a player has only played say Round 4 it is up to them to then play the other 3 rounds.Presumably though the player who only plays the 4th round won't do as well as those who've played all the rounds, as it seems the leader boards give priority positions to those who've played all the rounds, then next are the 3,2 and 1 rounders?

Re: Rounds on tourneys
When you host a first round, and play with a player who is playing his 4th round,
is he playing under your first round conditions, or his 4th round conditions?

Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

Re: Rounds on tourneys
The host controls what round is being played. eg if the host sets up for Round 1 then any player joining him will also play Round 1. Any player who has already played Round 1 won't get their score recorded again though.Tresclub wrote:When you host a first round, and play with a player who is playing his 4th round,
