NEW PRO-AM EVENT

Gotta admit that I don't follow the PGA like I used to, but damn, I barely recognize any of the pros in that field. Who are these guys?

The first PGLS Pro-Am tourney has finished and congratulations go to FUZBEE and Rory Sabbatini for their slender win!! I hope everyone enjoyed the format.

The next Pro-Am will be at the PGA Championship to be held at Bethpage Black.

THE PRO-AM TOURNEYS ARE NOW PART OF THE PGLS SITE - you will find the Pro-Am's under 'EVENTS'

Many thanks to Mark and Ian (Altaedm) who have written the event script and put in a lot of hard work to get this up and running.

This is how it works:
When the cut is made in the REAL event, the REAL pro's who make the weekend are selected for our Pro-Am.
At that point, those who have played at least ONE PGA18 round will be 'matched up' with one of the REAL pro's AT RANDOM.
Please note that only Rounds 3 and 4 of both the REAL event and our PGA18 tourney will count for the Pro-Am.
As more players register a PGA18 score they will be 'matched up' with the remaining REAL pro's, until ALL the pro's have been taken.
After that time, any more players registering a PGA18 score will not be included in the Pro-Am.

Both REAL round scores and PGA18 scores will be updated on the Pro-Am leaderboard at regular intervals between Friday night and the following Wednesday night, when PGA18 closes.

It's just a bit of fun for you folks and hope you get some entertainment out of it...
