Nvidia Image Sharpening Try it out...
I found that at 4k the game looks really good but when i play on my 3840x1080 kinda like a 27 inch 1080p screen the game loses alote of sharpness in details so i messed around with nvidia control panel and id like to point out that on my end it looks incredible at times depending lighting and the time of day. //right click desktop // manage 3d settings // Program Settings // add Perfect Golf . exe // Image Sharpening , Sharpen 1.00, ignore film grain 0 // i just tried it amazing so clear i thought i was actually there lol.

Glad you found a better visual experience for yourself. The OP has sub-minimal PC hardware for this game. I am hoping he can upgrade his system once he discovers how much better Perfect Golf is over all other PC Golf Video Games on the market.

OP here... Which of the posted specs are you thinking that my setup is sub-minimal? After a few minutes of googling I was unable to get a clear answer on how my graphics (AMD Radeon R7 200 Series, 2G VRAM) compares to the minimum and recommended values from the screenie. Other than that... Last night, I encountered a course where there the graphics were noticeably choppy, possibly a low FPS. It was The Los Angeles Country Club 3DG and it's the first time I've observed this (I've previously played several dozen different courses). While it was mildly annoying I wouldn't consider it a showstopper if I really wanted to play the course.

If your total system memory is 8GB or higher you're all set. As for your R7 200 with 2G RAM, that's going to hold you back from being able to play the game at higher quality settings.
These are my regular settings unless I bump into a super demanding course.
Nobody's settings are going to be the same. Depending on how you adjust your monitor settings (the actual buttons on the monitor) combined with in-game settings and video card settings there are millions of combinations.
But! If you enjoy the game and can have a visual experience that is "always" satisfactory that's great!
Lastly. Welcome to PG and PGLS.

Maybe I should try playing on my laptop, a much more recent computer with Radeon Vega 8 Graphics. As for my desktop computer (the one I've been discussing up to now), I may be replacing that one soon anyhow.
I've actually had PG since its release but haven't played it much until the last couple of weeks. Many years ago I played Links 386 and got pretty good at it, enough to place well in online tournaments. For a while I played Links 2003 and downloaded more courses from https://www.linkscorner.org/ than I ever had time to play, and kind of fell out of the computer golf world until PG came along. If I get good enough at it in local/solo play, maybe I'll start participating in events here.

I believe many of us here have played, or are still playing Links 2003. It certainly set the bar very high for in-game features. Perfect Golf, as many of us have joked about since 2014, is Links 2003 on steroids.
I still play Links2K3, TW08 but mostly Perfect Golf.
By the way. You can play all the regular tournaments by yourself. If you want the experience it's good to sign-up for all of them. If you enjoy playing "with" another person as a paired-team, there are new people here who enjoy the social aspect of online virtual golf. As for me I like to play alone. I'm a very fast player who is not patient enough for team play.
However, I do enjoy the occasional Mid Week event and the Knock Out (KO) on Sundays at 19:00 GMT.
