Re: EA PGA Golf
yea, I think it is great I like the new game but just having a hell of a time
getting used to the controller again, so yea I hope they keep their word here and get it in as soon as possible.
the gameplay is not too bad so far as what I have seen and having just 30 courses is a big plus as I was starting to get lost in all the courses we have here. as for the MP there, I can see that being a big issue with no game lobby or place to meet up with others to get a round together maybe they will get something together in that regard. other than that I can see myself spending lots of hours learning the game.

Re: EA PGA Golf
So far I really like the 3c. I don't like the gui so much though. I hope they update it as it looks rushed. You gain the ability to shape your shots and not be stuck with the preset and shot shaper.
I make fewer putts than the controller though

Re: EA PGA Golf
I had to re-map my mouse to play 3 click and NOT use a keyboard to swing. It worked fine and mouse play is very similar to PG. The game is not anywhere near finished (deja-vu). It has me hopeful though.
I am a tired of the PG shortcomings. We lost another stroke on greensomes when hitting off the tee tonight. Its like beating your head against the wall and hoping for a different result since the last time you beat your head against the wall.
Who knows maybe PG wins again... but, I am willing to see how it unfolds.

Re: EA PGA Golf
You need to have a mouse that is programmable. It also needs to support more than one profile.Riddler wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 3:07 am So,you can play 3-click with a mouse? What does re-map mean?
1. I made a new profile and named it "EA Golf." This kept my regularly used profile/settings untouched.
2. I used the mouse's software to assign the primary/left click button to the right click button.
3. I used the mouse's software to assign the "a" button to the left click button.
It works really well, but it is really hard to make yourself navigate with the right click button instead of the left click. That really makes no difference in game, because most other navigation is by keyboard. Out of game is a whole different story.
So, when I get ready to play EA PGA Golf I switch to said profile and when I am done, I switch back to my regular profile.
I use a Gigabyte 502 Hero because I like "free scroll," but it allows you to customize/program buttons and such. You need a mouse with this capability, but they are a dime a dozen.

Re: EA PGA Golf
The addition of 3 click was really positive but this business of a programmable mouse puts me right off.
I have just a standard HP mouse.
