Players will need to play 12 rounds per month in these tournies to be considered for a change of tier in either direction.

Think it's covered here, 2nd paragraph
So...curious about something...

In January, I have played 12 rounds of PGLS Tours tournaments, as well as several PGA 9 tourneys. My stats say I have only played 6 rounds. Are the PGLS Tours rounds not included in general stats? My general stats give me a SA of 69.00, but my PGLS Tours stats have a much lower SA. How does all this work?

Thanks...

The PGLS Tours stats are kept separate from the rest. To work out any movements at the end of the month, I collate all the rounds together in a spreadsheet. The summary of the collated results gets posted each month.

Hope that helps.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

Just wondering how you players feel about a player say, that has been "promoted" many times up a level, so obviously plays well and scores just fine at the higher level (when playing normally) who then Sandbags to make sure they qualify for demotion back down a level again?

Yes, this site is to provide fun for all but by the nature of having leaderboards and if a player plays in events that count towards Tier allocation, then are they not competing?

So was wondering what people thought about that? Should the loophole be closed to prevent deliberate high scoring on say 1 hole of a round, or does the fun part outweigh the importance of having leaderboards so leave things as they are?

My answer to that is no, you can't be certain that is the case (deliberate high scoring). I can be cruising along and if you look at my scores you will see one or two holes that shut me out of the race on about 90 % of my rounds. It isn't intentional at all.
Your saying that I might be doing this on purpose is.......... well I'll leave that as is.

I'm for letting a player choose his preferred level. As you talk about rigging to stay at said level isn't real. Take a Pro that gets promoted to TP because of good scoring and he is using motion swing; going to TP using the MS is totally different than TP using a meter. The after effect of the promotion is being demoted for bad scoring if said player can't adjust.

The game is for fun not subjective rules that can't be verified true or false.

Only my opinion fellas.

I suggest capping the lowest scores to -12 for 18 holes. A score of -12 is not easy with any valid swing type. And, it is an achievement for any level. It really would be nice to see a few players tied at #1, #2 and #3 in the PGA 9 and PGA 18. IMHO

Just let players choose they own level....(i only compare myself to other Tour Pro's on PGLS leader boards anyway)......if a player wants to move down to Pro just to take advantage of the top map aiming, then let them......i think a experienced 3 clicker wanting to drop to amm or hacker is just sad....
as for motion or rtms'ers they should defo be allowed to play at whichever level they want as Rannyg states its much more differcult to adjust to a new level.....
as for capping rounds at -12....interesting but imagine being on the 15th hole and already at -12.....would be a very sad last few holes.....

wouldnt letting players choose there own level stop them from potentially sandbagging?

Gee, I wonder who you are thinking of? :)

Anyway, the fact is that some people have no self-respect, no pride. Sad but true. So to the low life losers, that don't care about the rules of competition and good sportsmanship I say go pound sand.
