I play a lot with player solo.varak as he is a friend and we enjoy playing together. Whilst playing in a couple of the PGLS tourneys with him, i noticed a problem within the tourney / game.
In the 3rd round of the 9 hole tourney @ Orchard Valley, Solo hit his drive onto the fairway and then proceeded to have a game lockup. He was unable to click the continue button due to the lockup, but was able to exit via alt+tab and shutting down the game, then upon restarting was able to resume the game. However, his drive, which he clearly finished, wasn't recognized by the game on resuming, and so he had to hit it again. But what he failed to recognize was that for whatever reason, the game had penalized him by putting a 90% power loss on his driver, even though he was on the Tee. Needless to say, when he hit the shot it only went about 60 yards. He then proceeded to click on rehit from the Tee which of course gave him a penalty.
This happened a second time, whilst we were playing the second round of the PGLS 18 hole tourney @ Mount Zanzibar North. Solo had putted out but then experienced an internet dropout, which was different to the first occurence, but had the same result like he had in the 9 hole tourney. He left the game and was able to resume, placed him on the Tee of the next hole, but if it hadn't been for me alerting him about the "power loss" with his driver, the same thing would have happened. Again he had a 90% power loss, but then changed to a 3 wood, which only gave him a 25% power loss and he was able to use that to tee off. This all happened over a space of two to three days and he had never experienced it before whilst playing the game. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before??

Re: Possible tourney / game bug.
Hi,
Yes, I am afraid to say this is a game bug when resuming into shared games.
The best thing to do is to remember to check your club upon resumption, and if you see anything other than it being on the tee with no power loss, then use the club picker to change your club away from driver and down into the irons or wedges, then return to driver. That will clear the rough penalty.
Sorry for the problems you encountered. I will use this as a message I send out to everyone to avoid too many falling into the same problem.
