PGLS's PGA TOUR

Post by Tresclub »

I would like to see PGLS start a PGA TOUR (tournament) on this site. It would start on Thursday at 00:00:01, and end on Sunday at 11:59:59, and would follow the PGA courses as best as possible.

Our PGA18 is following the venues where available, and plays over an extended period to allow fans to both follow the real-life action as well as play the game. Any shortening of the event to purely times when the event is open will adversely affect numbers playing.

The PGA18, in the same way as a Tour Pro would do, will play a majority of courses on one tour, but may switch to other continents for a short season or a run in to a major.

As well as the weekly events as normal, where we have the data available, on occasions we even run one round at a time, with pin locations that actually match the event. That is a fairly huge undertaking, is a difficult concept for some to grasp, where we clear out scores from advance 'holding' rounds which did not have the pins set yet, and can only be done where data is readily available and on particular occasions, such as at The Masters.
