Trouble Joining A Friends Round

I am wondering if anyone is having trouble connecting in multi-player for a round. A friend and I cannot get connected this week regardless of who hosts the round. We just get a "connecting" message and then it kicks us back to the main menu.

steam go to library right click game title, go to Properties then to local files then hit verify integrity of game files
both of you should do this and see if it helps. also have the game shut down as you do this.

Well done Dave! Another thing to do, anytime you have connection issues, is to exit Steam and close it within your System tray. Some Steam updates 'block' full connectivity until allowed to set themselves with a fresh launch.
