How is it possible to shoot 16 under around Pinehurst? Come on organisers, sort out the handicap system!

Tournament tees, soft receiving slowish greens and light breeze. If you put the ball in the right spots, the birdies are there to be had.

Really is a course for trying to avoid hitting the green in the wrong spot with quite a few greens having an up turned saucer lie. Don't try and get too close to the greens so you are hitting a longer club into the greens and not landing on an upslope with spin from wedges, better to run up a bit with 7/8/9 irons.

Hope that helps.
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

Putting handicaps onto event that already has different levels of play is absurd.........

answer? putting all 3 click players onto Tour pro and all motion swing onto Pro THEN put in a handicap system.....

weve all played this game(and other golf games) long enough to handle the step up......its really not that hard......

as for shooting -16......its easily possible to get scores like that with settings like that

Im sorry Mark but it is very hard as an ammy 3 clicker to step up to tour pro if you dont have the machine to cope with it. I do feel the handicaps are wrong and there should be a minimum and maximum for each level. also no one should be allowed to play at a level their scores dont justify it should not be an option for the player to move up a level by just saying so. Some of the scores are getting silly for whatever reason and this was one of the factors that killed off wgtls. In my opinion all events should have at least 2 rounds where you have to play with another member. If you join a club you should participate in that club. Again this is just my opinion which dosent carry that much weight

yes a while back i doubted some of these scores, but as i have gotten better
i now see how it is done. 2 things in this game get those kind of scores
Putting, and consistency. i just wish i could put it all together in the same round, lol
im also in Mark{nibnobs} camp on the handicaps. to many folks are just getting good at one of the lower levels and they never
try to progress to the higher levels.

There will be some movements before the new Season starts on Friday.

The problem is only really troubling if Pros and Amateurs were on top of the leaderboard every week, which they aren't. The consistency isn't there.

The scores will always gradually get lower, it's a game....you just have to understand how the ball reacts to different conditions, but until someone gets -20/-22 every single round...there's still room to improve for everyone :)

thats not far off 49 were being shot on wgt in the end. Leader boards are mainly the same every week and have to many solo unknown players in the top 10.

thing was with wgt, only about 10-15 courses which you played over and over and over and over, you get the picture! scores would always come down quicker. At least with PGLS, sooooo many courses. I only play the courses during Tournaments, so it keeps it fresh and you don't learn the courses anywhere near as quick, hence I don't think you'll see -22 every round in this game. Maybe the odd tournament when the set up is easy with shorter tees etc, but not as the norm. Take this week, harder course, more difficult set up and scores are much higher.

Afraid some of us choose solo only for time reasons, I can play all 4 pga9 and stableford rounds in under an hour which suits my timings. Online is just too long and you lose rhythm waiting for others to play. I get the online thing, I enjoy an odd Mid week or Seasiders if I have time (early starts down work for me) when i'm not in competitive mode as it were.

i agree with affo on the solo thing, and i bet if you ask the top players
you would find out most also use rhythm in there play and don't want bothered with the
distractions that come along with playing tourneys in MP.
i like to play my tourneys at my pace which is much faster then most.
