The Divisions Cups/Brackets

Starting from April, there will be 2 cups or brackets which use your scores from the appropriate Period score.

The GOLD CUP will be contested by the top 32 players who completed 3 or more rounds the previous month based on their final positions of that month. This will be seeded, so the Div 1 Winner will play the 32 ranked player, and so on.

The SILVER CUP will be contested by the next best 32 players bases on final positions in the Divisions (again 3 or more rounds completed from previous month).

I'm anticipating that most of the Top 5 Divisions' players will be included.

Round of 32 will use the Period 1 score you post.
Round of 16 will use the Period 2 score you post.
The Quarter Finals will use the Period 3 score you post.
The Semi Finals will use the Period 4 score you post.
The Final will use the Period 5 score you post.

Your score is put against your opponent for the round and biggest point score goes through. If there is a tie, the lower seeded player (player seeded 32 is lower than seed no 1) will go through as a giantkiller. So the "better" player needs to beat their opponent to go through.

Think that covers it. Just a little something else on your Period rounds, especially the 1st one. But the others too, the better you place in the month end table, the "easier" your draw could be next month, so all to play for all month.

Just tested the current month based on original seedings for the Divisions just to see with seed no in brackets:

GOLD Semis would be:

Affo (1) v cubbies645 (4)
terbal (30) v NIBNOB (7)

SILVER Semis would be:

parman (17) v Coach098 (21)
Duval59 (11) v charlieb (23)

Just goes to show, one good round and anyone can get through to the final stages.

5 days - so period 1 for April ends midnight on Friday 5th.

yes, they use the period rounds, period 1 for Round 1, period 2 for last 16 and so on.
