Re: The Los Angeles Country Club
Ok...... got some more fixes:
1) Flags fixed (thanks Mwh65 for the help!)
2) I had another 3d grass problem (grass in wrong spots)
3) More grass tweaks, should improve performance slightly (it did on my machine).
4) Added Random rotations to several trees.
I am leaving shadows in for the really thick stuff, I really like the looks on the shadows on the bunker. I get good FPS on my 1070.

Re: The Los Angeles Country Club
I played a round last night with my distance set at 1500 yards and dynamic sky off. I have an i5 with 3.20 GHZ, 16 GB RAM, 64 Bit and a 6 GB GTX 1060 video card. Although I really like the layout I had some very low FPS numbers. What really surprised me was I was getting FPS numbers like 20 -22 when I was in a greenside bunker or in rough beside the green.
There was also a lot of shimmering (I think that is the term) of the rough whenever the camera was moving or if I adjusted my aim. My understanding is that both the FPS issue and the shimmering of the rough is caused by having shadows activated for the rough. Hope this can be corrected as there are some very interesting holes. Thank you.

Re: The Los Angeles Country Club
A better description of what is happening with the rough is flashing. The only time the rough is not flashing is when the the screen is fixed. If the ball is moving whether on the ground or in the air or if you adjust your aim, the rough flashes. It similar to the Z fighting you sometimes see on buildings.
