please see below, i'm guessing after miraculously shooting -15 and -14, no one else is allowed to go any lower. How come the sudden low scores?? I have no proof of any wrong doing so as I commented, assume they were 2 very well played rounds. Well played BOWHUNTER615.

The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

Bowhunter questioned Terbal, of all people, for shooting -2 at 5 sisters, Bowhunter said in public that there was "something fishy". And just now he is questioning NibNob again regarding the Skilz tourney. Why is this guy still allowed to play here? When I first called him out for publically calling Affo a cheater he questioned my integrity for "playing on a tour that allows cheaters". I was quick to call his hypocrisy, pointing out how many tourneys he plays here.

Ban the loser.

suppose it depends if you are on the receiving end or not, can understand why many wouldn't.

If there really are any cheaters in this game they would most likely know about a game exploit that was not patched after the first three exploits were shown publicly, then patched. The Steam Controller settings were taken care of by banning that particular controller. So players moved on to a different swing method or simply don't play any tournament sites' official events, tourneys and challenges.

If PG2 ever gets released, I believe any in-game exploits will be patched.

I know this question is going to get posted: "What do you think the exploits might be that still exist in PG?"

I'll take one shot in the dark. Maybe a player can change their score during tournaments by hacking the game. The player or players who know this exploit would wait until the best players finish their rounds then play their rounds - then change their scores just enough to win. Sounds far fetched but who knows? People keep zeroing in on the mouse, controller and maybe an app created by a coder. Maybe what is impossible for the masses to learn is a piece of cake for them.

The mouse and controller would have nothing to do with this type of vulnerability in the game.

Don't forget they would then somehow have to hack the data received through the API to change the stats gathered here to mirror something which could pass for being correct. You'd have to manipulate greens in reg, putts, chips, bogies, birdies, hell all of it!

A lot of work and know how to win at computer golf and if it was possible, does anybody think that a person doing this has the time and energy to keep it going?

Because it's just conjecture, I would have no idea how they would do it. It might be a simple hack into the scorecard and change the score on the fly while playing. It could be complicated as you pointed out or it could be simple and fast.

We just don't know.

What we do know is if someone is doing this they will be called out by Admin and dismissed from any tournament site.
