Money List?

Post by Stevemaccal »

Was thinking (as a guy who has no idea how to do it) Would a money list per season be an idea? My thoughts are each level would have it's own prize money, with a bit of a drop as you go down. It might provoke more players to try and aim for the top tier. it's probably something that would run alongside the current tours but might add something.
As i say I've no idea how that all works but guess its probably difficult.
Also I just want to say this in no way reflects on the PGLS in anyway, which I enjoy being part of, and I'm grateful for.

Well there is the Season points list which does do that. The PGA9, PGA18 and Stableford are awarded points which has a sliding scale for position finish and Tier level.

This runs for 3 months, currently in Summer Season which runs from June to August inclusive and the weeks included are based on the starting date of the event.

eg: tourney_stableford9_season_points.php
The scores may be unrealistic, or even a joke but heyho, that's what we got.

Play well and enjoy your game everyone! :drinks:

btw, not a game for snowflakes.

True Affo, you guys put on a great tour.
i guess I kinda liked the old tour i was on (JN6) with that format.
on here there's lots happening so plenty for each player.
Working shifts i usually find i have to cram my rounds in over a day or two, which has advantages/disadvantages, and i don't always get them in.
Love being part of it all though.
