Beta for an official tournament?

Post by whattashot »

WTH a BETA for a tournament? I don't download BETA courses, and I suspect I'm not the only one. You couldn't wait until it was final? I have 384 FINAL courses on my hard drive. How hard is it to pick one of them? Shaking my head here.

65 courses is all there are that have challenge tees that can be used for this tourney.
as for this being in beta i would think since this course has been out a couple of years now the beta
tag has been overlooked and was not removed or the designer just never sent a message to the site here to say he was done and no more would be done to the course. granted it is a tough test of skills as are all the courses this designer has put out it is very playable for this tourney. and at least the designer took the time to put playable challenge tees on it.
that is about all i have to say but i'm starting to think maybe this test of skills is just not in your wheelhouse.
to be honest with all the issues you seem to find in this tourney just maybe you should just look past this one at times.
i know when i find a tourney that don't suit me i just skip it and move on to the next one.
you got to remember this is a free site that puts up free weekly tourneys to give us something to do if it where not here we would either all be paying money to play tourneys or just not playing them at all and just how boring this game would be.
also please remember the setters of these tourneys do it for nothing no one here gets paid so maybe you should just be a little easier on this
as i am a setter not of this tourney but another and it can be a thankless job at times and we do spend our time doing this.
